Shouldn’t We Encourage?:
Is it not up to western people to encourage the Arabs in Gaza to move out to other Arab nations, and other Arab nations to take them in, and maybe save their lives? I must confess I would be hopeless at it. I’d say things like ‘maybe best to go’ or ‘that child looks as if it would enjoy life in some place with schools and food, but where’s that in the Arab world? It is little wonder you won’t move.” or ‘women you would be better to wear a veil, shut up and eat than be free to starve’. Ed says: “Maybe not Gordon, better leave it to people who can help them.” Gordon says: “People should be trying now I think.” As for Gaza in future it’s allotted for “Sheepy Baaaaaaaaaaaas and mutton chops”. Leaflet drop?
Let me say this on another subject. Foreign call centres with people who can barely speak our language working for our British companies. They do things differently and not at all well. I had one call me yesterday telling me the company needed to make an appointment to fix something in my house. Four times they have made appointments recently and not turned up, because they could not understand the procedure. I told her to have them give me twenty four hours notice and come and do it. (Hope I’m not in hospital) Then I hung up. In the old days they just came and did it, but she couldn’t understand that, it has to be their Muslim way. For one appointment attempt they texted me that they couldn’t find an engineer that day and cancelled. Their engineers must be going demented with their run arounds. Other times they said nothing. Are they up to some mischief? They started last year.
