Kojak: On Our TV Daytimes Just Now.
I have never watched a complete episode, but I know enough about it to see the likeness to real policing all over the world. This is not about the show, but instead about policing.
Like every policeman / woman Kojak walks around the streets ignoring the criminals all around him he doesn’t know about, and just concentrates on the one he is after. If ever there was a wrong way to police that is it. Only the people in the community know who the criminals are. Locking easy catches up is no way to save souls. Only the people in the communities can do that. It is easy to see how police all over the world got into the position of controlling organised crime by being a real part of it. They think that being involved in it is the only way to subdue it to an almost manageable level. However only everyone in a community can manage crime to nil. P. S. Has anyone built that self powering electric motor to create a utopian world free from compulsory power bills that are killing people? It can be done!!!!
