Kings Speech: I listened to a BBC recording on YouTube at 3pm 29.12.2024.
I have just listened to the King’s speech for the first time, having heard it condemned in almost every way by others. Just as well I listened because I could not fault it in any way. If I believed what others have to say about it I would be doing King Charles a great injustice.
He said exactly what I have been saying, and that is we must live together under one religion. Christians are saying they want it all, and rightly so, but Charles is saying other religions want the same for themselves and their religions. Something has to give and therefore we must all become one religion by talking to each other and agreeing to a law making us all the same in Britain. (Not that I myself expect to be around much longer) ‘For Christ’s sake’ what can be so difficult about discussing the benefits of a compulsory Church by law, and sticking a piece of A4 paper before parliament to achieve it. It does not require rules, because the Church itself has all the rules in it. Or would the government like to change them as well – – – – God forbid.
