Broken Appointments: Or were they?
Twice in the last two months my power supplier has made appointments to renew their meters in my house. No-one showed up on either occasion. Their call centre has people who can hardly speak English and it is in India? Beginning to look like Phishing Spam! The last man amongst all the other gibberish and background noise in a foreign language kept calling me ‘Man’. “I have to send an engineer man,” “sorry man”, but still no engineer. If only it were easier to contact the supplier, and without getting some foreign crook on the line, who probably does work for them, but for themselves as well. This must end. We are a Christian nation, and our national companies should be ours alone. Successive governments have given them away to gibbering crooks. And so are the meters really due for changing? Probably are actually. All they have to do is come and do it like they used to. Are they afraid I’ll be miraculously cured if they remove the source of my illness with that being the power meters maybe?
