Resurrection:
There have been a lot of people resurrected since the resurrection of Christ. I know because I’ve met a few of them. Saint Peter for example. So I have to ask how long was my friend Yeshua Christ dead? Just over two days is the answer. (I doubt if I will ever be resurrected. Good Riddance will be my epitaph. See if I care. I think Yeshua and company made a mistake calling me their friend. Maybe they thought I was Elton John)
Much is made about Christ dying to remove our sins. If your sins are serious enough I can assure you they will not be forgiven. They might be if you truly repent, but even then it is not certain they will be. It is more likely such repentance will be last minute attempts to escape justice. Christ was born a Jew, and of God, to extend the word given to Israel on to the gentiles. He showed us the only way to God. That was his God given purpose. He died and was resurrected to prove the worth of believing. He became our hope when we behave. He did not live to change the laws or forgive sins. He lived to reiterate the laws and stress the importance of abiding by them. Almost every word he spoke was a warning to that effect. His parables for example. God’s word is the law, and that law must be kept. Blessed are the meek for they shall inherit the earth. Thank God. Not much hope for preachers on TBNUK then? Some of them do well, but most have little idea of the purpose of living ??
