It was all the fault of my nurses, who refused to carry me into Elgin on my bed to present the papers, which I didn’t have anyway, at the council Head Quarters. You just can’t get the staff these days. Ed Says: “You had no intention of standing for that election Gordon.” Gordon Says: “You’re right Ed, but if I were fit I would have. However your right, and I never mentioned the subject to my nurses, except to say I wished I was fit enough.”
On the subject of dead bodies lying on the streets of Bucha, in Ukraine. Many are lying beside the burnt out remains of tanks. If even only some of them are Russian tanks I would think it very difficult to prove war crimes. Who would have been brave enough to tidy them up? The crime perhaps is the invasion itself. I wish someone would invade Britain and put an end to corrupt gambling firms amongst other corruptions. I wonder how much money they made from last minute betting on that snooker final at the weekend. Fixed? ? ? What do you think? (They’ll give you cancer if you agree with this)
